“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the people to gather wood, divide the work and give orders. Instead teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea”

Antoine de Saint Exupery

Want to experience life on a small-scale Welsh family ecofarm? Keen to learn about self-sufficiency, animal husbandry, permaculture, woodland management, natural building or how to grow your own food? Come and volunteer with us and join the momentum that is growing at Bronhaul….

So much of what Bronhaul has become bears the mark of the hands of willing, hardworking and enthusiastic volunteers, and our lives have been continuously enriched by the company of volunteers from all over the world.

We will never forget our 10 days at Bronhaul. It was an incredible experience. Never have we met a family more welcoming, supportive, friendly and sincere. From the moment we stepped onto their serene property we were greeted with hugs and tangible warmth

Whether you live locally and are looking for a chance to learn new skills and get out in the fresh air once or twice a week, or a traveller from afar looking for a residential work exchange on a small-scale permaculture farm, we’d love to hear from you!

The farm was a joy to work on. The woodlands and fields are beautiful to gaze upon and the daily work was versatile and interesting.

Amelia, Australia

We host residential volunteers from March-June and September-December. To find out more or read reviews from past volunteers, visit our HelpX profile here.
