On Friday 14th September 2018, we’ll be hosting Social Farms and Gardens’ ‘Our Future Matters’ Sustainability Tour here at the farm!
Learn about how we are growing food, together, with nature – using a combination of permaculture, biointensive and agroecological techniques and why we believe that growing food is an ideal vehicle for the kind of ecological and social change we need to see, for building resilient communities and addressing some of the bigger challenges of our times.
Join Abel Pearson, Project Coordinator of Glasbren, an emerging Community Supported Agriculture scheme, environmental education and horticultural therapy project at Bronhaul, for a tour of the farm, to hear about how we are trying to create a sustainable, balance small-scale farm, developing local food networks and about how we can find power and hope in a deep connection to nature and each other. There’ll be talks and workshops throughout the day, as well as a delicious lunch straight from the land!
If you are travelling to the event, and want to stay over in one of our self-catering cottages, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
